My Naturopathic Profile

I am a qualified Naturopath. I received my certification in 2005 from the Naturopathic College of New Zealand.
Prior to this I worked as a Massage therapist and IFAS Practitioner from 2001.
My shop and clinic (Hibiscus Health Orewa) was first opened in 1996 and I have operated my business here in Orewa since 2005. 

In my clinic at Hibiscus Health shop (3 Tamariki Ave, in Orewa) I make use of various diagnostic tools such as a Quantum Resonance Magnetic Analyser. It is a non-invasive, advanced electronic device used to collect the weak magnetic field of human cells for scientific analysis. This assists me in detecting as well as determining your tested personal health status and underlying issues.

I also use a MORA diagnostic analyser which is a non-invasive form of Electro-Acupuncture. It creates a fascinating investigation of what is going on within your body on every level, at that exact moment. Electro-Acupuncture is a form of bio-resonance treatment that we use to test your body for imbalances, as well as intolerances of food or allergies. It helps us to analyse the acute state of your organs and organ systems, disease causing microorganisms (e.g. candida overgrowth, bacteria, fungus and virus etc), environmental toxins (e.g. heavy metals, radiation, additives, pesticides and free radicals); your parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous system, support for weight control, pharmaceutical drug intolerance and management, as well as  testing for nutritional deficiencies in your body. This may also help to identify other acute or chronic symptoms e.g. hormonal imbalances.

The MORA diagnostic analyser is used to find your correcting homeopathic-, herbal-, mineral-, nutritional-, body cell/organ- and homeobotanical remedies.

A full assessment can between 1 and 2 hours but there is no discomfort since you are holding an electrode probe in one hand while I use another probe to work over the acupuncture points of your other hand which form a circuit to obtain accurate information. There is no sensation as no electricity is sent by the probes. Electromagnetic waves from your body are measured which can be used by the MORA as treatment. This is achieved by manipulating the waves, either by increasing or decreasing their amplitude, before sending them back into your body. There is no sensation involved; I work with babies, toddlers, young and old individuals.

I specialise in allergies, injuries after immunisation, age related problems, stress-related altered body functions and weight management. I like the detective work to analyse your body, to find the reason where your body’s symptoms and signs originate from.
